• The Classic Girls' SoftSkate 381 the padded, fleece-lined boot in Jackson Ultima’s Classic line,— a white vinyl boot with a pink, purple, or fleece collar and the SoftSkate logo on the quarter. Jackson rates it Medium Recreational Support, the level it names for beginners and skaters commencing lessons, and it arrives complete with the blade already fitted and sharpened.

  What sets it apart from the rest of the Classic range is the padding: a thick rolled collar and a covered padded tongue make the boot warm and forgiving from the first try-on. The trade is stiffness — it holds the ankle for public sessions and learn-to-skate, not for jumps.
